This picture of a Water Scout Mouse? was sent to me by another NFLCC member in an attempt to verify that it is in fact a Clark made lure. There is a concensus of opinion that it is not homemade, but few references to similar baits exist. Jim Bourdon and Ray Barzee do make mention in their study "Clark Water Scouts and other Clark baits" of a lure with what appears to be staple holes on each side that could have held "legs" of some sort. Another strange Clark bait was sent to me by Mike Presley and has all the appearances of being a #302 Water Scout with a strange deep-diving lip and tether assembly.
